Under Australian law, pharmacists are qualified to provide healthcare advice, as well as certificates for medical or carer's leave. This also applies to online services like Proofbits.

If you believe you may have a serious medical condition or require immediate treatment, please do not use Proofbits and instead dial 108.

Most assessments are completed within 5–10 minutes. Our healthcare professionals are trained to conduct thorough but efficient consultations so you can get back to rest as quickly as possible.

You'll be asked about your current symptoms, how long you've been experiencing them, and your general health. For carer's certificates, you'll be asked about the person you are caring for and their condition.

Each consultation and certificate costs just $19.95. There are no hidden fees or subscription charges. You only pay when your certificate is approved and ready to download.

Most certificates are issued within minutes of your assessment being completed. In some cases it may take up to 30 minutes. You'll receive a push notification as soon as your certificate is ready to download.

If your certificate isn't displaying, please ensure your app is up to date and you have a stable internet connection. Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, contact our support team at demo@negits.com.

Our healthcare professionals can only issue certificates when clinically appropriate. If a certificate was not issued, the professional may have determined that the symptoms described did not meet the required criteria. You will not be charged if a certificate is not issued.

Yes, in almost all cases. Certificates issued by Proofbits are signed by a registered healthcare professional and are legally valid under Australian law. Most employers and universities accept them just like any other medical certificate.

Our certificates can be used for sick leave, carer's leave, and study absences. They are accepted by employers, universities, TAFEs, and other educational institutions across Australia.
